BAJA MEXOLOGY COCKTAIL WEEK 2022
Fresh, innovative and trendy, this will be the second edition of the most important cocktail festival in the north of the country: MEXOLOGY, BAJA COCKTAIL WEEK, will take place in Tijuana, Ensenada and Valle de Guadalupe from June 30 to July 3, 2022. The cocktail party arrives in Baja with an event made to delight lovers of good drinking, presenting 10 of the best mixologists in the country taking the bars and preparing cocktails of their own in 10 of the Restaurants/Bars that are setting trends in Lower California. With this event, it is expected to receive people from the region, national tourism and our neighbors from California during the July 4 bridge, generating a great economic impact for the tourism sector. The presentation of the mixologists will be open to the public with the so-called "Take Over" on July 1 and 2 in the spots based in Tijuana: Piedra Santa, Aruba, Nórtico, Caccio, 52 Kool, Mala Fama, Lladró Speakeasy, San Maree ; In Valle de Gpe.: Fauna, Wine Garden, La Justina; in Ensenada: Matilda. In addition to delighting diners in the region, the objective of MEXOLOGY is to reinforce hospitality services through workshops, conferences, talks so that anyone in the industry or cocktail lovers can learn from the best exponents of the country. The venue for the conferences and workshops will be the Hotel Quartz, located in Tijuana, which has the best facilities for an event of this magnitude. Among the activities of the week of July 29 to 4, all the restaurants in the region are invited to join the cocktail week with a flagship cocktail at a special price, which will be publicized on our social networks. Finally, the event will close with a contest called: MexiDrink Contest, which will be open to the public, and seeks to encourage the region's talents to continue creating innovative proposals. Among the invited mixologists we will have the most representative national figures such as: Peter Sánchez (WAB/Arca Tulum, Lost Explorer), Joseph Mortera (Casa Lumbre/Café Ocampo/CDMX), Anny Barrera (Semillón/Los Cabos), Alejandra Aguinada (Gallo Altanero/Gdl), Ismael Martínez (Chartreuse/Hanky Panky, CDMX), Alfredo Corro (Sabina Sabe, Oax), Israel Wolf Díaz (Alchemist, Nay), Mafer Tejada (Map of Bermaids, CDMX), Sheila Zenteno (Tequila Casa Azul) and Claudia Cabrera (Fernet/Kaito del Valle, CDMX).
