OCTOBER 19 "INTERNATIONAL DAY OF THE FIGHT AGAINST BREAST CANCER"

At the initiative of the World Health Organization, on October 19, the International Day to Fight Breast Cancer is celebrated worldwide with the aim of raising awareness and promoting that more and more women have access to timely and effective controls, diagnoses and treatments.

It is estimated that 1 in 8 women will have breast cancer in their lifetime and this is the main reason why women should have their breasts evaluated regularly.

Early detection to improve the prognosis and survival of breast cancer cases remains the cornerstone of the fight against this cancer.
