THE THIRD SEASON OF PARRILLEROS WAS FILMED IN BAJA CALIFORNIA

Locations from Tijuana, Playas de Rosarito, Ensenada, Valle de Guadalupe and Mexicali were used.


TIJUANA.- The third season of the series “Parilleros” was filmed in Baja California, on location in Tijuana, Playas de Rosarito, Ensenada, Valle de Guadalupe and Mexicali. This reality cooking show is presented by the company Barcel, and includes in its cast personalities from the culinary world and as host, Mexicalense chef Antonio de Livier; this was indicated by Abelardo Vázquez Ramos, director of Creative Industries of the Ministry of Economy and Innovation (SEI).


This season was filmed over 12 days with a crew that included 60 people, and includes challenges ranging from a grilled “Space” breakfast, to the reinvention of the sophisticated lobster through six episodes in emblematic destinations in the State.


The participants are Diego Andrade and Germán Fajardo (Monks of Munch), Robegrill, Ana Casanova, Asando con Pipe, El Asadorongui, Cecy González, Iker “Señor Lobo” Cortés, Adrián Reyes from “Domando la Parrilla”, Pliego Villarreal from Kinky, Antonio Burgueño, Jesús Manuel Ponce "Borrecito" and "Mr. Parrilla", Raúl Benavides; while the digital host is Alma Blanco.


Javier Espinoza, Baja California Cinematography Commissioner, reported that image post-production is carried out at the Krafty Films facilities in Tijuana. Among others, the crew was made up of the production company Krafty Films; Walter von Borstel, executive producer; Marla Arreola, producer; Mariana Salas, director; Alejandro Ramírez Corona, director of photography; Linda Ruiz, production design; Daniel Talavera, art direction; Ricardo Carreno, sound; Abel Coronilla, gaffer; Gabriela Cardona Walther, still photography; and Alfredo González Unibe as post-producer.


This season of “Parrilleros” began broadcasting on July 21, 2022 on Canal Space, every Thursday at 9:00 p.m. (MÉX) with a repeat on Saturdays at noon (MÉX), and Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. (MÉX). MEX).


About the project, the producer Marla Arreola commented: “This series was carried out thanks to the sum of the talent and professionalism of the cast, crew and suppliers, to the warmth and trust of the locals and to the beautiful locations that Baja California offers. We are pleased to show the quality and culinary and tourist potential of our State, its people and its places at a Latin American level”.
