YOU CAN´T GIVE WHAT YOU DO NOT HAVE

"You can't give what you don't have" This statement, despite being one of the oldest and most well-known truths in the world of Psychology, can often be forgotten when people begin to walk the path of becoming a guide people to follow. We tend to forget that the best way to convince others is to be convinced yourself.

Harry Firestone said, "You can get the best of others when you get the best of yourself." Even so, you should know that if the best you have is not superior to what others have on their own, you will never be able to lead them beyond where they already are. Your contribution must be greater than them.

Your attitude is the key to your personal magnetism. If you don't start the process by becoming a winner first, it will be at least difficult, if not impossible, to get people to join you. Yet behold good news: your desire and your effort to win over people will help you become a person of influence. As Charles Warner points out, "No one can sincerely try to help another without at the same time helping himself."
